Patatas Bravas with dipping sauce

Hola a todos!!
Patatas Bravas is a native dish of Spain which is usually served as tapas in bars and restaurants. It consists of tasty potatoes served with a spicy dipping sauce. It makes a great appetizer. So, let’s make this for parties or any other get together!!

What all you need:

For patatas bravas–
3-4 potatoes( washed)
1 tsp red chilli flakes
1 tsp dried herbs
1/2 tsp olive oil
Salt ( to taste)

For dipping sauce–
1/2 cup pureed tomatoes
3-4 garlic pods( crushed)
1 tsp red chilli powder
A pinch of sugar
Salt ( to taste)
1 tsp olive oil

Step by step recipe:
1. Cut the potatoes in wedges.
2. Add oil, salt, chilli flakes and dried herbs to them and mix well so that potatoes get properly coated.

3. Grease a baking tray. Arrange wedges on tray.
4. Bake @ 180°C for 20-25 minutes.

5. Heat a pan. Add oil to make dip.
6. Add pureed tomatoes and garlic and sauté.
7. Add chilli powder, sugar and salt. Cook for 7-8 minutes.

Serve wedges with the dip!!
